Chuck Black, a former F-16 fighter pilot and tactical combat communications engineer, is the author of sixteen novels, including the popular Kingdom SeriesThe Knights of Arrethtrae series, and the Wars of the Realmseries. He speaks at conferences throughout the U.S. and has been published in LifeWay’s Home Life MagazineThe Old Schoolhouse Magazine, Walk Thru the Bible’s Stand Strong Magazine and on various websites and e-newsletters.


Chuck is currently the president and CEO of FlowCore Systems, an automation company in the oil and gas industry. He is also working on a new series to inspire people of all ages to study the scriptures in order to discover the hope and love of a truly majestic King and His Son.

In the summer of 2010, Movie and TV producer Jess Stainbrook met Chuck Black at a homeschooling conference in Denver.  "I read Chuck's series and was immediately captivated by the story," says Stainbrook. "The imagery, the interaction - I could see the movie in my head with every page I read. I think this could be the next big trilogy movie series like Narnia or Lord of the Rings!" And the rest, we hope, is history in the making!

Jess is known for his producing/directing on a wide variety of media and movie projects including Seven Days in Utopia with Academy Award winners Robert Duvall and Melissa Leo, the NFL Super Bowl series Faith Family and Football with Tony Dungy, and as an Exclusive Advisor on Mark Burnett's The Bible Series. Jess is the Chief Entertainment Officer with The Faith and Family Sports Programming Network and serves on staff with Athletes in Action as a media expert and sports chaplain.
